ABOUT ECLEKTICA SALON
In October 2006, I opened Eclektica Salon located in the beautiful setting of Briarcliff Village, just 5 minutes from Downtown Kansas City. I was wildly enthusiastic and I didn’t realize then that it was the beginning of an inspiring journey that would change not only my life, but the lives of many others.
In 2017, we are still focused on enhancing the relationship with our community and creating culture within the Salon that promotes outstanding customer service and advanced education so we can offer you great technical delivery and an amazing experience. We also partner with L’Oréal Professionnel to provide you with the best hair products in the world.

REFER A FRIEND
We believe that a referral is the best compliment that you could give us. When any new client comes in for a first appointment and says you referred them, we will credit your salon account for $20 that you can use toward services.
If you are a new Client, please be aware that a credit card number and your current contact info are required to reserve your appointment.
We understand that things happen and there can be valid reasons for missed appointments.
However, when Clients skip appointments without notice, or we experience continual no-shows, our Stylists are not able to accommodate other clients. We are sure you can imagine that this makes staffing and scheduling very difficult.
If you are unable to keep your appointment, please give us 48 hours’ notice so we can schedule our Stylists’ time accordingly for the benefit of other Clients.
This notification courtesy enables us to schedule another client and maintains a higher availability of services for you in the future.
Your credit card will only be charged if you do not cancel 48 hours in advance, or if you do not show up at all.
As a reminder, it's very easy to reschedule or cancel an appointment via email at email@example.com or by calling 816-587-4159.
Due to scheduling commitments to other client schedules, we may need to reschedule any appointment for which you are more than 10 minutes late.
We will remind you of your appointment 48 hours in advance via telephone or email, depending on your preference.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES
If you are not happy with your products, neither are we. Hair products may be exchanged for any other product or for in-store product credit.
We do not give cash back for returns.
All L’Oreal Professionnel and Redken product returns must be made within 7 days of original purchase.
All mechanical item returns (hairdryers, flat irons, etc.) must be made within 7 days of the original purchase.
All hair brush, facial product, and special order sales are final.
If you are dissatisfied with a service you have received, we are happy to provide you with the opportunity to return to the salon for us to redo the service. Redos are scheduled exactly like regular appointments and are provided at no charge. The only qualification that we make in providing redos is that you call to schedule the redo within one week of the original service and that the redo be scheduled with the same stylist who provided the service. However, in the case that the original stylist has no time available, or if you feel that the technician is unable to provide the service, an exception may be made and the redo may be scheduled with another technician.
TRY ANOTHER IN-HOUSE STYLIST
We realize that you may need to switch to a different stylist based on a variety of reasons - schedules, prices, or sometimes just to get a different perspective. Please feel free to ask us for a referral to another in-house stylist. All of our stylists are very supportive of one another. We keep detailed records of your service history and color formulas. All our stylists have equal access to this information. We can ensure that no matter who you see, you will receive the same high-quality service to which you have grown accustomed.
|OUR CHARITABLE MISSION:|
We provide gift certificates for Eclektica’s hair services to auctions and fundraisers that:
a. Benefit women, children or families
b. Involve the Kansas City’s Northland as a host office, event venue and/or geographic target of benefits.
Eclektica Salon is committed to supporting the Community. It is our pleasure to support our clients in raising funds for local causes.
DONATION REQUESTS must first meet the following criteria:
- Must be received from a current client of Eclektica Salon
- Must be from a non-profit organization as define by the internal revenue code (501c3)
- Must benefit or represent Northland or Downtown beneficiaries and organizations
- Must be received in writing a minimum of 3 months prior the event
- Must agree to provide program/acknowledgement/marketing material after event to demonstrate evidence of donation for the event

Upon receipt of your request, consideration will be given and a follow up response will be provided within 30 days of your request.
Donations will not include cash, checks, retail goods nor the labor of our employees.
Because we receive hundreds of requests every year, we are unable to donate to the following categories:
- Funds for individuals
- Political causes
- Pageant or contest funds
- Religious organizations
- Employee/corporate incentives
- Class reunions
